Where can I get a COMSOL license?
Windows
- Start > All Programs > COMSOL Multiphysics 6.0 > COMSOL Launchers > LMTOOLS.
- On the Service/License File tab, choose Configuration using License File.
- Browse to the local license file C:\Program Files\COMSOL\COMSOL60\Multiphysics\license\license.
- Go to the Server Status page and select Perform Status Enquiry.
How do I update my COMSOL license?
On the Service/License File tab, select the COMSOL License Manager. Go to the Start/Stop/Reread page and click the Stop Server button. Go to the Config Services page. Change the paths to lmgrd.exe , and license.

The cost of the modules vary (between $600 – $4000) for perpetual licenses. Yearly licenses for the base COMSOL & modules are available at 50% of the cost of perpetual licenses. For teaching COMSOL in a class we have a 60 seat class license available along with a fairly full array of modules.
