From the outset, Under the Skin is not your usual movie. Very little dialogue, not much explanation of what is happening, rambling everyday scenes punctuated by odd sci fi scenes. These are all good things, initially. There’s a mystery and intrigue to all this, and you hope that things become clearer and more purposeful after a while.
