CVX stands for cardiovascular exercise – or maybe extreme – , which means this may be my least favorite P90X3 workout.

Is P90X3 a good workout?
Overall it’s a very well-rounded program, however I still had about 40 lbs to lose and in 90 days this really only got me down 10 lbs. This is after I added in additional cardio workouts from T25, Insanity, Insanity Max 30. I have 30 pounds to go. So if you still have a lot of weight to lose I would recommend Shaun T.

What is p90x CVX?
P90X3 CVX is cardio exercise plus weight training with very short rest periods between sets. This is what people call metabolic resistance training. You’ll burn off more calories doing this kind of workout (than you do just lifting weights). P90X3 CVX has 4 rounds of exercises. You do each exercise for 1 minute.
What is Isometrix P90X3?
Isometrics are movements that are a static hold, keeping your muscle engaged but unmoving throughout the length of the exercise. This is very different from the dynamic jumping and weightlifting that we have been doing a lot of so far. This workout requires a lot of balance, which may turn some of you off.
Will I lose weight with P90X3?
You can definitely see P90X3 results in 30 days, but they won’t be as large as they will be in 90 days. You can expect to lose 1-2lbs each week if not a little bit more when you start the workouts and nutrition plan.
